Motorists are urged to use an alternate route to avoid delays. A Georgia Department of Transportation alert stated: "There is a crash on I-75 SB exit to I-85 North with all lanes blocked. The crash appears to have involved two vehicles, with no word yet on any possible injuries. The citys highways, including I-285, I-75, and I-85, are often gridlocked. Emergency personnel were said to be on scene. It happened near GA-317/Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road. The incident is causing a slowdown on I-85 North coming out of Midtown, with the wreck occurring on the right hand side where the ramp shoots out onto I-85.
